Life

As far as Jon can remember, he's always believed in Jesus Christ. He was raised in a Christian home in southern California and grew up attending a Calvary Chapel with hisfamily until early adulthood. As he continued to read and study Scripture, however, he became more and more convinced that Reformed theology was indeed the most faithful expression of the biblical message. Jon has a wonderful wife of almost ten years, Kristin, and they have two boys who give them much joy, Joseph and Nathan.

Education

After earning a B.A. in history at Cal State San Marcos, Jon attended Westminster Seminary California where he studied under such men as W. Robert Godfrey, Michael Horton, R. Scott Clark, and David VanDrunen. He now has a Masters in Divinity, but more importantly, feels properly equipped to serve the church of Christ.

Calling

Rev. Moersch was ordained on February 22, 2008 at the Oceanside United Reformed Church with the calling to serve as an associate pastor as well as to pursue the work of planting a church in south Orange County.
