Just an update on our Sermon Audio page. We have been broadcasting since mid-June. Through July there have been 416 downloads by people throughout the U.S.—and get this—throughout the world! People in Australia, Canada, China, Netherlands, New Zealand, Romania, and the United Kingdom have downloaded sermons. This is truly amazing. I pray the Christian and Reformed faith would spread across the world, regenerating, reviving, and reforming! 

Dr. W. Robert Godfrey—President of Westminster Seminary California and one of my spiritual fathers—recently gave a Reformation day lecture on the work and influence of John Calvin. The audio is available here.

My lecture from this year's Reformation Day in the greater Vancouver area is now available for download as an mp3. I've shrunk it as much as possible, but because it was a 55 minute lecture, it is 20MB and takes a few minutes to download.

THIS past Lord's Day I switched pulpits with one of OURC's founding members, my friend and now colleague Rev. Mike Brown of the Christ United Reformed Church in Santee, CA (while in seminary he was already a much better preacher than me!). I preached a sermon I did back in September at OURC on 1 Peter 1:10-12, The Pilgrims' Privilege in Hearing Preaching. Find it here. THIS is one of the most amazing texts I have ever exegeted, prepared, and proclaimed as Peter writes to us about the overwhelming privilege we as New Covenant Christians have over the prophets and angels when we hear the Gospel.
